I am a Polish psychologist and psychotraumatologist based in London. My specialisation is clinical psychology and psychotraumatology. My thesis was based on a case study of Polish women living in the UK for over 10 years, and the topic was: Personality, Emotional Intelligence, Stress, and Coping among Women in Exile.
I gained my experience in many fields through psychological internships in Polish organisations in Poland and the UK. I was also part of an important project run by the NHS for the Polish community on the subject of screening.
I am currently the director and psychologist at the Polish association Families – Helping Poles in Need, where we provide free advice (consultations) to people in need.
Psychology has always been my passion and has been very important in my life. Helping people by being with them in difficult life situations, acceptance and understanding are key factors in recovery.
